As the 2026 work season officially begins, the Dragon team has fully returned to our posts, dedicated to various site investigation missions. To mark the start of this year’s operations, we are embarking on a deeply meaningful cross-sector mission.

Dragon Geosciences is honored to collaborate with the Central Weather Administration (CWA) to install integrated meteorological observation instruments on our flagship vessel, Polaris 2. During every offshore operation, we will jointly execute the “Smart Marine Meteorological Environment Disaster Prevention Service Project”. By utilizing AIS to automatically transmit data every 10 minutes—covering critical metrics such as wind direction, wind speed, air pressure, temperature, relative humidity, and rainfall—we provide precise data feedback for maritime safety and disaster prevention. Our rigorous approach ensures high-quality data output, contributing our professional expertise to the advancement of smart marine environments.

Dragon Geosciences is proud to play a part in increasing the density of marine observation data in Taiwan’s waters, ultimately enhancing the quality and accuracy of meteorological early warning systems. For us, this partnership is more than just a technical integration; it is a tangible action of leveraging our professional capabilities to give back to society.
